740697 2009-01-21 00:23:00 Are there more black people than white people in the USA? From the TV reports, I observed that there are mainly black people flocked to attend Obama's party. Where are the whites? All along I thought that there are more whites than blacks in the USA. Looks like I'm wrong. bk T (215)
740698 2009-01-21 00:31:00 Where are the whites? .

Probably crying, because he's not white, and the blacks / afro americans are probably there because he's the 1st black US president

And the people who didnt go, probably didnt pay, so weren't let in

740701 2009-01-21 01:06:00 I am always so very disappointed that all news in this country has the lead story about the new American president.

I think the lead story should be the most important NZ story. TV One's news lead story last night had eight boring minutes!

I always record the news and so, thankfully, I can listen to the headline and then skip over the rest.

I am not trying to put down the importance of happenings in America, but I think it a great pity that the news people in this country seem to have such little regard for, and rate so low, what is happening, in New Zealand.

740702 2009-01-21 01:12:00 We dont have to watch the news to see whats happening, the same thing is on the radio.

TV is too boring too watch anyway, which is why I cant be bothered watching it

Cant be bothered listening to whats happening in NZ away, same old story.

Someone has died, someone had killed someone else, MP's bitching at each other, domestic violence, crims on the loose. Its too depressing to watch let alone listen to.

I'll rather watch a dvd

Same applies here in New Zealand. How many Whites attended:

Tuheitia Paki king of New Zealand's Maori people coronation.

Lurking.

Yup, it's pretty much the same every night. :p Unless there's something especially important, I normally mute the TV until the international news comes on. :)

740705 2009-01-21 02:04:00 Could make a movie about it, Groundhog day II and III :p

III would be a repeat of II

740706 2009-01-21 02:33:00 How many got up at 5-30am to watch it live on TV, not me. Saw my 10 mins worth on the TV at lunch which was enough.
:)
