| 739917 | 2009-01-18 01:02:00 | Can some one tell me what mils are esp in relation to annual increase of magnetic variation. I am using 1 inch to mile maps for navigation I am happy with degrees minutes seconds but dont know what mils are. |

| 739921 | 2009-01-18 19:07:00 | Pretty happy with variation and annual increase Roddy. I passed navigation exam for CPL. Just wanted to know what the mils were on maps. Seems mils are only used on telescopic sights. Pity NZ not like Singapore where grid north is almost equal to magnetic north. |
