739370 2009-01-16 18:29:00 Why dont you just ask the tattooist? You have an image in mind and they are the artist you will be paying. sam m (517)
739371 2009-01-16 19:27:00 Best to take in at least a rough picture to show the tattooist, even if all it does is show the proportions and a vague layout, then they can put it together in a way that works as a tattoo, and add all the detail and shading. Metla (12)
739372 2009-01-16 20:58:00 More to the point why would you want a tattoo? I can bet in 20 years or so you will regret getting it. Bantu (52)
739373 2009-01-16 21:29:00 Not specifically Bantu. YMMV when it comes to opinions on tattoos, each to their own.

hueybot3000, keep googl'ing, took me a few weeks of googl'ing for a couple of hours a day before I found what I wanted! I'd say the satisfaction is well worth the effort! :)

The vast majority of people don't, They just don't make a point of telling people that they are quite happy.Tends to be no one else's business.

And the for majority of people who dislike their pieces its because its of such poor workmanship, Cover-ups are about 10000 times more common then removal. (figure pulled out of my arse)

Of course, that's just based on the people I know and have met, not articles in the media or dribble from people who don't like tatts.

The other misconception people make is about ageing, They are meant to age right along with your body, they are part of your body after all, Sure, when your 90 that tat will look as sad as the rest of your body, but just by looking at it you will remember where you where at in life when it was done, and perhaps who was in your life, and maybe even teh day it was done.

"The only difference between tattoo'd people and non-tattoo'd people, is tattoo'd people dont care if you have a tattoo or not!"

739376 2009-01-17 03:45:00 Yep go for something you like, I personally wouldn't have one as not a fan of them but I do know that if done properly they can look fantastic, the only thing I really hate is people who tattoo their face makes them look nasty. One of my work colleagues has an awesome Tuatara climbing up his lower leg much better quality than the pointing thing tattooed on his back gary67 (56)
