| 844796 | 2010-01-02 02:57:00 | So, yesterday, I installed one my favourite game of all time, Diablo 1, again . After installing I noticed a rather large problem . This game was made in 1997 and I don't think they expected people to be playing it in 2010 . Anyway, I'm guessing there weren't any wide-screen monitors back then . What happens is the game is like, squished, and being an old game there is no options to change the resolution or aspect ratios . I can't see the bottom and top of the game . My monitor is . . ViewSonic VX1940w Monitor, 19" LCD, 1680x1050, DVI, Black Thanks |

| 844802 | 2010-01-02 19:19:00 | Some monitors have a setting to display the input at its actual ratio (4:3 in this case), rather than stretch it to fill the screen. My monitor has this setting. | pcuser42 (130) | ||
| 844803 | 2010-01-04 19:51:00 | If you have an nVidia card you can change the way smaller resolutions are displayed, so you can have it stretched (4:3 or widescreen) or in a small box in the centre. | autechre (266) | ||
