| 844486 | 2009-12-31 02:25:00 | Hi all, I have a PC at work that will not boot from the network I need to reimage (we use PXE + Ghost 8). When i attempt to boot via PXE, it times out before it can get an IP address - about 1 minute. Identical PCs get an IP fine if they boot from the network simultaneously. As far as I know it used to work; the PC is about 4-5 months old. The PC is a USFF beast and cannot accept a PCI NIC. It does not appear on the list of hosts on the BOOTPTAB server (which all the other ones do), which is very weird. I haven't got the PC with me here, I've just been googling for a solution and figured it'd be worth posting here too. Off the top of my head I can't remember the BIOS revision, but I think it's above A03. Thanks!! |
