2009-01-17 04:00:00 | What lies did the police tell - Can you quantify how long you think the search should have gone on for given that they were told all the occupants had left the scene. BTW Mr Cribb could have rung the police after he was told later that night that his son was still missing but he went to bed but fathers are not paid so no blame there then None of that justifies the Police leaving someone on the side of the road to die. In fact that's just a load of incredibly weak dribble. The circumstances leading up to the police failure has nothing to do with their actions.

But I do get annoyed when I hear of all the crimes lately and then we get told the police are "considering whether to lay charges !" They should say they are going to lay charges and then do so ! Justice for all ! |

2009-01-17 06:03:00 | Don't you understand what quantify means. I asked you how long you think the police should have looked for someone they had been told wasn't there plus you didn't answer the question about police lies. You are hiding behind generalities as is your want and the abuse is creeping in. | Dally (6292) | |
2009-01-17 06:21:00 | Heh, The time spent is a red herring. A thorough search of the area means just that. Your request to quantify a point I never made is pointless and was ignored. Obviously they performed a poor search of the area, and claimed otherwise, a real search would have found him. I'd hope that even though the arrogant facade is being maintained by the Police it would be a different story behind closed doors, and that these twerps are getting the hard lessons for their ineptitude.I'd even bet they have protocols in place in regards to accident areas that if followed would have meant discovering the perrson injured on the side of the road. Though perhaps they view leaving a person to die as a perfectly valid way to do their duties, Just like your advocating. Don't know where you see abuse, unless your referring to me dismissing your justification as dribble. If so....HA.:banana:banana:banana

2009-01-17 06:30:00 | Did the Police know how many people were unaccounted for? This is a bit like those idiotic "baby on board" signs in the back of the car window. If there is an accident and someone does a runner, but the baby was not in the car at the time though the sign was in place (as they always seem to be), does this mean they have to search 24/7 for a baby or they are inept for not doing so? I have never quite understood the purpose of those signs, apart from creating a liability for innocent helpers.

2009-01-17 06:43:00 | Did the Police know how many people were unaccounted for? The police were told the car only had 2 occupants, and they were taken to hospital. I figured the Baby on board signs were drivers trying to convince the car behind not to rear end them, Just in case that's what they had on their mind.... Either way, utterly pointless yellow bits of plastic.

2009-01-17 07:03:00 | Yes I consider calling someones posts as dribble abuse but then I'm rather old fashioned but at least you admitted that you made up the remark about police telling lies. Thank you for that. | Dally (6292) | |
2009-01-17 07:21:00 | I do like the "mother in-law in boot" signs though... | godfather (25) | |
