I went to Unitec for 6 months, Linux was becoming quite a hit, coz peoples laptops cost heaps less etc Not to mention all you need to do in OpenOffice is: File --> Save As --> Type: Microsoft Office Word 97/XP/2003 .doc IF you're enrolling in online courses, the word online would imply at least some minor knowledge of computers. And why would Verizon send somebody out to her house? Tell her how to do it over the phone in all of 2-3 minutes. However I bet she would have complained about somebody trying to help her over the phone if she'd rang her ISP too ... As far as I can tell, Dell arent in the wrong in any way. |

The follow up story says people called her a dumb girl, not worthy of a university degree and that this particular story got almost 10 times more internet traffic than the actual wkowtv homepage. | utopian201 (6245) | ||

Long story short..... Women! .....Yes this is chauvinism at its highest |

If I were to try and tell my grandparents there's even an alternative out there, they'd probably die from the amount of choices that could be made ;) |
