| 844376 | 2009-12-31 04:46:00 | The Beta version 4.0.249.43 seems to be stable and saves passwords. Yup this is the version I am using. You can use extensions on the Beta Channel you don't have to be on the Dev channel and every version of Chrome I have used from Stable to Beta to Dev has saved passwords. Go to Wrench / Options / Personal Stuff and you can toggle the choice off or on. |

| 844377 | 2009-12-31 06:53:00 | I can't get Chinese fonts to work with XPpro, they are Ok with W7. Firefox and IE6 have no problem with these fonts in the same machines. The fonts are displayed as squares. |

| 844379 | 2009-12-31 07:08:00 | Chinese works fine with Firefox & IE6 so it must be a Chrome problem. | mzee (3324) | ||
| 844380 | 2009-12-31 21:57:00 | Yup I love the speed, except with the Adblocker (Adsweep) when you load up a page the ads appear for a brief second and the disappear. Try AdBlock+, I've never seen the ads at all with this and pages load faster. I'm using Chrome 4.0.249.43 on Ubuntu Linux 9.04. I also had a problem with passwords not being saved until I checked the settings and found password saving was not turned on: Wrench, Options, Personal Stuff, check "Offer to save passwords". |
