| 845272 | 2010-01-03 10:05:00 | Hey guys, Whenever I click any link in Windows Live Messenger (to any web page), I get the following error message, twice. If I click Cancel twice, the page comes up normally in my default browser, Firefox. --------------------------- msnmsgr.exe - Wrong Volume --------------------------- The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume EASY_CD into drive E:. --------------------------- Cancel Try Again Continue --------------------------- I don't know what EASY_CD is, and I cannot find any reference to this problem on Google. Drive E: is my normal DVD drive. Running Windows 7 and (I think) the latest version of Windows Live Messenger, Version 2009, build 14.0.8089.726. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! |

| 845274 | 2010-01-03 10:23:00 | easy_cd = easy cd creator?? Would think it would be a CD I had inserted, and I don't posess that CD. However a repair install of Windows Live fixed it. Why I didn't try that before I'm not sure. I'm still really curious what caused it though. Why does it need to read from the optical drive to open a web page? |

| 845275 | 2010-01-03 10:33:00 | Could be something got screwed up -I had a similar incident here in W7 the other week, when ever I burnt files to a CD, if the original files were on my server, it keep asking for the server when trying to open them from the CD - a reboot fixed it -- | wainuitech (129) | ||
