2010-01-03 03:10:00 | I have a price limit of $100-$150. anything lower that fulfills specifications is fine as well. any good suggestions? I'm running Windows 7, 4gb ram, intel core 2 duo 2.67 ghz processor with a shitty intel integrated q43/q45 express chipset. I just need a decent one that will play most recent games properly. Nothing fancy.

2010-01-03 03:24:00 | You may get an ATI HD 4550 for around $106. Just got one about 2 weeks ago. Its good enough. 512mb, with VGA/DVI/HDMI ports. | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-01-03 03:45:00 | This card is great, a ton faster than a 4550, and only $159. www.computerlounge.co.nz (HD4770) With an HD4770 Crysis, is playable. (30ish FPS) This is an $89 HD4550, www.computerlounge.co.nz don't expect much though.

2010-01-03 04:08:00 | ok heres a hopefully simpler scenario. lowest to highest quality--> star wars battlefront 2, call of duty, halo 1, borderlands, codmw2 which card would cover the most number of these types of games for the least amount of money? sense makes? the ati hd 4550 was the one i was actually looking at beforehand... :]

As above buy the 4770 its worth every red cent. The Performance is VERY close to a 4850 (which does feature in the below link). www.guru3d.com As you can see the 4550 is woeful. |

2010-01-03 04:55:00 | my screens 2048x1152, widescreen dell sp2309w so would the 4770 be good for that? and would the card run properly with my comp specs? listed above and i have that stuff on a dell optiplex 760 tower. "Windows 7, 4gb ram, intel core 2 duo 2.67 ghz processor" the comp wouldn't overheat or anything right?
