| 742082 | 2009-01-26 05:50:00 | I'm getting a bit sick of rice & mixed vegetables, but haven't really cooked any other healthy meals before (plenty of very nice unhealthy meals :drool) What is your favourite healthy meal & your favourite quick healthy meal? |

Grill it quickly so it doesn't dry out . Get some mixed leaves, mix with a little bit of something acidic (lemon/orange/lime juice, red wine vinegar etc) and an oil (extra virgin olive oil), and toss with some sea salt flakes and fresh black pepper . Add some roasted red pepper, and cashew/pine/ nuts, some fine red onion rings, maybe a handful of croutons, slice the chicken on an angle, and mix through . Serve with a nice crusty loaf (sourdough/ciabatta are my faves!), and a cold beer or sauvignon blanc . . . . . delicious . The great thing is how versatile salads are - you can come up with so many variations on the theme :drool |

(My fav is tomato and onion) Put some dried pasta Spaghetti or similar) into pot of boiling water for around 12 mins. In a separate pot, cook some Broccoli and green beans. Put sauce and mince onto Pasta and tip veges over it. Yummm and very healthy! LL :thumbs::thumbs: |

| 742090 | 2009-01-26 07:39:00 | Cook some thin round Highmark egg noodles in a pot, with a little bit of chicken stock and sesame oil until nearly done. Add 1/2 a cup of frozen veges, cook until noodles and veges are done. Season a piece of fresh fish with pepper and a pinch of salt (optional), and pan-fry until done. Serve with the noodles. | somebody (208) | ||
