845584 2010-01-04 09:53:00 Hi I have a Asus P5E3 Motherboard and Asus EN8800GT. I am looking at getting another ASUS EN8800GT but wondering if you can run the 3-4 monitors without crossfire or SLI? KdomBuilder (15547)

As far as I know you can't, but I do remember reading something about ATI doing it so maybe

845586 2010-01-05 01:14:00 Yes you can. In fact SLI would actually remove your ability to run multiple monitors as it it meant to link the cards to display on one screen only. trinsic (6945)
845587 2010-01-05 09:32:00 You should be able to but like trinsic says you have to turn off SLI anyway Agent_24 (57)

845589 2010-01-06 08:42:00 the second card doesn't have to be identical either (could even be an ATI) FWIW pablo d (15490)

you always could, you just can't use WDDM drivers on vista/7 to do it.
