845330 2010-01-03 21:47:00 Got it this morning just after widows started, Machine tried to restart itself.
Before it turned off I saw message I think it said "Page fault in non page area" or similar amd something about writing dump file.
Now having problems getting into widows,. Currently in Safe mode so can probably get to file where ever it is,

845331 2010-01-03 21:55:00 Depends on the type of dump file.

It can be C:\Windows\Minidump\Minidump.dmp.

or C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP

Its not a simple txt file, you need to know how to read them with dedicated software. You need the debugging tools as well as the symbols package.

I did try Whocrashed (www.technibble.com) a while back to read a dump file - but it was completely hopeless all it said was unknown error caused the problem.

845332 2010-01-03 21:55:00 You wont know what it says without the debugging tools. Look for dmp I think it is. C:\windows\minidump folder Speedy Gonzales (78)

Forget Dump files.DIsable Auto Retart so it stops next time.
I wouldn't worry if it was a one off - if it re-occurs though:

0x00000050: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Requested data was not in memory. An invalid system memory address was referenced.

Defective memory (including main memory, L2 RAM cache, video RAM)

or incompatible software (including remote control and antivirus software) might cause this Stop message,

as may other hardware problems
