Its the cause of most of the worlds ills. Bad parenting is one of the cause of social ills, and its not limited to young mothers. Bad management and exploitation is the cause of the worlds ills. I read somewhere (maybe here) that the world population could fit in Texas with enough room to give every family a plot for a house and land enough to feed themselves. You make some big assumptions about the family, I have no idea if they are true, But neither do you. |

That maybe physically and geologically possible, but you have to take into account the nature of humans. Everybody would want to live comfortable lives. They would commit crimes in order to live that comfortable life while sharing Texas with 6.6 billion other people. If many cannot find that comfortable life as it is now, everyone would be killing each other within days if all the humans on earth is confined into a land the size of Texas. Same thing applies everywhere. Everybody wants to live comfortable lives. |

The analogy was used the context of responding to a comment that the "crim" is responsible for a bystander being shot in error by the police. The police are responsible for the results of discharging their weapons. |
