| 845934 | 2010-01-05 05:39:00 | Ok, I'm currently running Malwarebytes over it. Found a few infected objects so far but still going. I'll run MSSE next. Here's another question for you It's SATA drive & I am using a powered USB converter to connect it to my system. Would it scan quicker if I connected it directly to a SATA port on my motherboard. |

| 845937 | 2010-01-05 05:47:00 | Mbam is still running & MSSE has just come up with an Alert "Virus:Win32/Alureon.F" | Driftwood (5551) | ||
| 845938 | 2010-01-05 05:52:00 | Hmm, looks like Win32/Alureon is a data stealing trojan (www.microsoft.com). So, IF it was working before this infected the system, I would change any passwords on any sites you've been to. Esp banks. Thats IF you've got any money left in it ! | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 845939 | 2010-01-05 05:54:00 | heres the info on it (www.microsoft.com) - it infects the atapi.sys file. thats whats causing the problems more than likely, hopefully after MSSE finishes its scan, it will boot OK. | wainuitech (129) | ||
