Before it turned off I saw message I think it said "Page fault in non page area" or similar amd something about writing dump file. Now having problems getting into widows,. Currently in Safe mode so can probably get to file where ever it is, |

It can be C:\Windows\Minidump\Minidump.dmp. or C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP Its not a simple txt file, you need to know how to read them with dedicated software. You need the debugging tools as well as the symbols package. I did try Whocrashed (www.technibble.com) a while back to read a dump file - but it was completely hopeless all it said was unknown error caused the problem. |
