846703 2010-01-07 20:58:00 I have a Gigabyte K8NF-9 motherboard that supports USB 2.

In the BIOS there is no provision to be able to boot from the USB. Is it possible to "fix" this?

I thought that just maybe I could get a copy of say Fedora, or the like, and just be able to boot from a USB.

Then again, maybe the CD/DVD would be best but less portable!

This might work then.
