| 846703 | 2010-01-07 20:58:00 | I have a Gigabyte K8NF-9 motherboard that supports USB 2. In the BIOS there is no provision to be able to boot from the USB. Is it possible to "fix" this? I thought that just maybe I could get a copy of say Fedora, or the like, and just be able to boot from a USB. Then again, maybe the CD/DVD would be best but less portable! |

| 846704 | 2010-01-07 21:04:00 | Unless GB bring out a BIOS update. So, you can boot from USB flash drives, then no. You cant boot from USB flash drives. Open the case up, and see what the revision is. Is it a 1.x or 2.x? It'll be etched on the mobo somewhere | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
