846541 2010-01-07 05:42:00 Theyre not errors, theyre just telling you there's no drivers. Go to windowsupdate and check for updates. See if it picks up any drivers. If some come up, you'll know what theyre for. Or double click on the entries then go to details / change it to hardware ids. Copy and paste what both say back here Speedy Gonzales (78)
846542 2010-01-07 06:00:00 ok , i'll do that GameJunkie (72)

846544 2010-01-07 06:13:00 Guessing that means those buses have nothing connected to them so the OS hasn't loaded any drivers to them.

Hmm just looked at mine you have no com ports

846547 2010-01-07 06:21:00 the laptop has a vga out connection and one of those wide/narrow expansion ports.

could it be those?

846548 2010-01-07 06:33:00 Theyre here (h10025.www1.hp.com)

The first one looks like its the ENE CIR Receiver, under keyboard. The 2nd HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor, which maybe the validity fingerprint sensor?

Is the sound working?
Speedy Gonzales (78)
846549 2010-01-07 06:44:00 would that CIR be for the remote that controls the HP media software?
laptop doesnt have a fingerprint scanner
that data thing could be the hdd protectsmart file?
yep the sound works, i can adjust it with the slider adjuster thing
