My mate gave me his hardrive to format but when connected it to my pc it didn't show up.It made the connection noise and said your hardware is ready to use and all that.It is a Memorex 320gb.model no.ETD320CB.He said it was connected to a Mac,is that why Windows can't see it? |

got so far but when it comes to putting in the number its blank,only shows Cdrive and S drive which are mine. |

Pass then. Some sites say you can use a linux cd and fix it. Why format it in windows then if he wants it back? |
