Yeah yeah - anybody that disagrees with you is a troll. Got that.

This is a forum - if you object to differing viewpoints then why are you here?

743195 2009-01-31 12:27:00 Deane a perfect troll! :clap However as you well know, we live in a social democracy and all our main-stream political parties simply have differing views on where to place the safety net.

Well I thought my statement about National and Act being feudalist was as absurd enough not to count as a troll. Did you think I was serious...?

And you're right - the political landscape in New Zealand is pretty much dead centre these days. In reality there is very little separating National and Labour other than the tone of their publicity. In terms of actual policy the division of right and left is a thing of the past.

743196 2009-01-31 12:34:00 So,now that you understand, perhaps you could tell us what we should do?
I make light of these matters in view of this mob being unable to transmit the answer to us all,but we are ok we have 007 and half lawyer Deano

So how is Goff a socialist, Cicero? Do you even know what socialism is?

What I can say,is that F1 is so slow of late.
You must try not to be so combative Deano,I am sure you will feel much better.
Socialism to me is a desire of some to put their stamp on how OUR money will be spent.I know the current lot can be described as above, just a question of degree these days.
The fact is,like it has been said, never the twain shall meet.

743198 2009-01-31 19:37:00 There is not a politician on the entire planet - let alone New Zealand - who doesn't have a desire to decide how your money is spent. It doesn't make them socialists - it just makes them people who want power (and money and status). Deane F (8204)
743199 2009-01-31 20:12:00 We are all capable of googling socialism, and getting all the answers.
I am sure that the under class is created from the idea people are entitled to a living,in spite of the fact that they didn't earn it.
I will head the the list of those that will help those that can't help themselves.
At this point I realise I am wasting my breath,as Kipling said east is east and west is west and never the twain shall meet.

You help those who can't help themselves, Cicero?
Deane F (8204)
743201 2009-01-31 21:00:00 Cicero, you wouldn't know the difference between a socialist, a fascist or a nationalist. You shouldn't use words when you have no idea of their meaning.

For our interest:

Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equal opportunities for all individuals with a fair or egalitarian method of compensationAs per Wikipedia.

Believe me,it's the fit and able who think the world owes them a living that I have to problem with.
The underclass, who Goff and his ilk have created.
