| 743062 | 2009-01-30 02:29:00 | [QUOTE=bob_doe_nz;750595]Auck museum is a $5 fee. The bastards. That museum was opened as a war memorial for NZ fallen in WW1. Hardly fair they charge people who have old rellies who died in WW1 fighting for Nouvelle Zealande. I am very disappointed to hear they charge admission to a war memorial. That blardy Cannuck chick in charge should get the boot back to Canada. |

| 743064 | 2009-01-30 04:13:00 | You called it a fee now its a donation. I would choose not to donate but I dont mind the ARC taking some of my rates money for the running costs. Fair enough to charge for special exhibit shows. I dont think many young people would enjoy trips to museums, I guess if they were like me they would rather be in boozers. |

| 743065 | 2009-01-30 04:56:00 | The backpackers I stayed at had a bar on the very top level,I believe it was called the Bar at the end of the universe?,or Bar at the end of the world maybe. Directly across the road was a bar that opened onto the street and it had two giant white pianos in it facing each other, Every Wednesday night they would have Westie Wednesday where the drinks were $1 a shot of hard stuff. Stayed there, great place. Bar across the road was awesome. strip bars all down fort st. Was there for a month while an apprentice. Oh the memories |
