744187 2009-02-22 22:12:00 I've just received my order from techworld. They were pretty professional in their communication. It took 2 working days for the package to arrive.

Someone's gotta be the guinea pig huh? :p

Yeah, but as PCTek and others have said before, getting things in a timely fashion isn't hard - getting some action when you have an issue is what separates the good online vendors from the rest!!

Yeah of course, but I looked at techworld only for their fans. They have the best price and availability in NZ it seems. Bought a couple of low speed Raidmaxes, a couple of Scythes (cheapest I could find) and a blue LED 40mm (again, cheapest - even cheaper than non-LED versions).

744190 2009-02-23 00:21:00 Anybody searched the companies register for "tech" before?

Its a bad idea :p

744191 2009-02-23 09:01:00 Yeah, so I'm not very sure about the after-sales service of techworld. But they are the cheapest I could find for many models of fans.

If it's after-sales service you want, take a look at modyourpc. My SilenX leaked oil, motor got VERY hot. Replaced within a week. Replacement developed the same problem. Full refund received within 3 days.

Too bad, that particular SilenX fan was very good in terms of noise and airflow.

744192 2009-02-25 02:37:00 computerlounge.co.nz have some good prices and free shipping. I have bought several items from them now and would definitely recommend. Maybe a fan is cheaper than the pile of aluminium necessary for fanless bridge cooling? My Abit AX78 has big aluminium 'sinks and heatpipes for the northbridge and mosfets and a little 'sink for the south, but no fans. The CPU cooler makes up for that though :( sammo450 (13626)
