743084 2009-01-30 00:49:00 Im not sure whats worse, Judith Tizzard putting this damn thing in-motion, or Steven Joyce not doing anything to stop it!
They're probably in bed right now smooching with the money given to them from the big music and film industries around them.

EDIT: Did I just paint a sickening picture?

743085 2009-01-30 00:49:00 hueybot3000, yeah thats what they said when I rang them too.

They even went so far as to say "We actually recommend people stay away from TPB / Mininova etc as they're the ones usually monitored"... :D

Would anybody be interested if I were to post the copyright violation notification up that Ive got? Until we received this one, I'd never seen one before ...

Im not saying that Im guilty, in fact I pleaded innocent to Xnet that it wasnt me (Considering we share our connection with a great many people, it wouldnt surprise me if it was one of the young'ins mates with a laptop or something, who knows), but yeah ... would it be of interest to anybody if I did post it?

743087 2009-01-30 01:13:00 Yeah many times .. they took off some of the better ones in my opinion, they had a few more but Im sure they've pruned the list!

Will just see if I can find it somewhere, Im sure the email is still logged away ...

What Is A Copyright Infringement Notice?

The movie, game & music industries have empowered a number of organisations to investigate and prosecute breaches of copyright occurring on the Internet. A copyright infringement is notice of a copyright breach which is usually sent to the offending users Internet service provider. You put yourself at risk of receiving a copyright infringement by using third party sharing programs and downloading copyright content from the Internet.

If we are unable to speak with you your internet service will be temporarily suspended until we are able to do so. We will attempt to contact you within a 24 hour period to notify you of the second Infringement. If we are unable to speak with you your internet service will be suspended until we are able to do so. Overview

Copyright breaches are illegal and dealt with in a serious manner. We do not wish to lose a customer however repeated Copyright Infringements leave us with no choice. If you receive two infringements (un-disputed) your Internet service will be closed and you will need to find another provider.

Went to TPB and looked it up, found quite a few, was half tempted to grab it seeing as I was accused of it. Checked our bandwidth usage around the days we were accused, it was almost nil, so I dunno what happened, coz I certainly done have a copy of Iron Man in 720p anywhere :(

Kinda gutted coz thats a good movie and I wouldnt mind having a copy (legit of course) in HD ;)
