In post number 10, you mention passwords, I can't seem to find any (or anywhere I would put any in), so i have a feeling i am looking in the wrong place |

| 847203 | 2010-01-14 21:48:00 | That may apply, IF you use a login and a password to log into windows. That could be / maybe the password, it needs if its asking for one. I dont know, I dont use passwords on any of these. And I'm sharing between XP, Vista and Win 7. (but not on wireless). And just shared the printer last night. So, all 3 can print to it | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 847204 | 2010-01-14 22:58:00 | The password and protocol discussions are a red herrings. Your problem is Vista not discovering the network shares. You haven't answered McRuff's questions. Is network discovery ticked in Network and Sharing Center? What settings have you there? |
