743279 2009-01-30 03:16:00 Anybody know where to get mesh dust filter for the PC? I don't need the fan filter housing - just the actual mesh. Do they sell it by the cm or m? Anybody know where I can get some? Went to Mitre10 and said they don't have it. qazwsxokmijn (102)

Also the air filter screen in the back of my Rinnai gas heater has a very fine mesh gauze. Measures about 48x18 cm. You would be able to make a few filters out of it. I wouldn't know what the price would be.

743281 2009-01-30 06:54:00 Hey Bob. Nah, fly screen net holes are too big. Looking at something like a mosquito net but thicker. If your PC fan has a mesh filter - that's the material I'm looking for. Unfortunately I don't think they are readily available around here. qazwsxokmijn (102)

No, doesn't look like it. Too thick anyway.

This is the best picture I could find:

They are washable and can be dried using a hairdryer of some sort. I just need the mesh and not the housing. Do you know where I can get some?

743285 2009-01-30 09:48:00 Hey pctek. Yeah, those fan filters are my last resort. What I want is the mesh filter itself so I could cover 3x 5.25 bays of my new P182 with it so I could dramatically improve air intake without having to install a fan. qazwsxokmijn (102)
