| 744416 | 2009-02-03 02:42:00 | Hello im currently under section 3/11 of the youth law meaning that im under supervision for six months. im wondering if theres anyone who know about this or any lawyers here. im having problems with my placement(my uncle). the problem is that he's trying to be a control freak and using this section. im on a curfew from 9pm-7am but hes making me stay home most the time during the day unless its for me to go to work; i also am not allowed to visit work mates or do shoping alone. this of course leds to me not joining work mates for games in the weekend... also he has started accuseing me of drinking and is paranoid that im doing illegal drugs(cannabis) - he has no real reason or evidence for any of these... this ends in april, but its really disconcerting how hes treating me and i would like to know how i could possibly nullify this order or be able to move residence?!? can you please drop me a line if you can... P.S he smoke cannabis and smokes. when he doesn't get one of these or both he starts to get more paranoid about me and about what i do and also very angry.... PP.S hes now threatening me about my internet connection(he took away to cord today while i was at work....) - he says i use it too much and that i should be out of my room more often; but he also says that i cant stay in town after work or go to a friends ether..... and hes now also threatning me about my accommodation |

In the event you live under my roof at your age then I set the rules. It is called discipline by the way. Yep. There are a couple of Lawyers on PressF1 and there may also be some bush lawyers as well. As your occupation in your profile says, "bum" I take it that you do not have a useful occupation at this time. What caused the supervision order? Try to get your Uncle to take you out from time to time if he can. Or help with the homework. If you were under my roof I would try to teach you how to cook and be self sufficient. The way you appear to be going you may end up in a prison. |

They hardly ever let her out of the house and when they did they would always be keeping track of who she is with/when/doing what. Made her rebel. Give someone freedom and they'll most likely respect it. Give someone strict rules and chances are they'll try to abuse them and rebel against them. I'm not saying there should be no rules, but I think if (in this case) the unlce lightened up a little on the rules then everyone would be happy. Don't give them anything to rebel against and they won't rebel at all. Just my 2c |
