745011 2009-02-05 07:08:00 I have a few RAM sticks to help people out when I need to.

I do have sticks that came from a 486.

And before anyone asks you are not getting them free.

Ram prices go up and down like the price of Gold or other precious metals.

You could as well ask what will be the price of stocks or shares in XYZ company two weeks from now is going to be. Or what will be the price of anything in two weeks.

RAM does get more expensive once it stops being made,So we should all hoard some DDR2 RAM now and set ourselves up for a killing in 5 years?

Well you could but you'd have to guess at how much demand there will be........

745014 2009-02-06 01:19:00 I still have 2x 64MB Sticks of EDO RAM lying around, and 2x 256MB SD-Ram sticks too... Thing is who would want them? For the price of PC's these days, you can get yourself a new Mobo / CPU / Ram for <$300 easy!
..And it'd be *tons* faster than any machine that uses EDO or SD-Ram ;)
Examples:
qmb.co.nz
qmb.co.nz
qmb.co.nz

With that in mind, even if you wanna try and sell those DDR-400 sticks in the future, you'll not get much for them, because people will get *so* much more bang-for-buck by just replacing their Mobo / CPU
