I want to make this website show on google first page for keyword -logo design. But there are so many sites on ahead of my site in google but many have only 1 page for logo design. These sites are not specialist logo design sites. My site is a specialist in logo design yet its pushed on to third page on google
Can anyone please advise me on this?

You are first up when search term is logo design site:nz, and your site seems to be very NZ-oriented.

It may not be worthwhile chasing to the top-spot for open searches, because the NZ-oriented content may turn non-NZers away.

That is interesting Deane F.

Surely the Logo Design person has the right to a fair trial but you assume it is spam. I do not know for a fact but do suspect strongly you are correct in your allegation. Where is your evidence however?

I take it that you know this for a fact so then therefore become a witness and listen to examination in chief and answer all questions then face the cross examination.

PressF1 is not a democracy BTW but there are rules that should be followed when posting. Personally I have been banned in the past for breaking or bending rules.

I have reported what I thought was SPAM in the past and now let the Moderators decide.

Much like the moderators or any member could take offence at this post and I get the ban then I will wear it.

Personally I prefer Sardines on toast rather than Tuna.
Sardines come from Sardinia don't they? As for Spam I prefer corned beef.
Salmon is not bad either. Just my opinion for what it means if anything.

I might add that I have now got to the stage where I only attack the message rather than the messenger.

745662 2009-02-07 21:37:00 How is a person supposed to get advice on getting their website a better page ranking without mentioning said website ...

I think some of you are jumping to conclusions.

The keywords "logo design" with site:nz returns results with the website on the first page. But most people would probably use the google search options of "pages from New Zealand" instead. This search with "logo design" returns the website on the third page. I think this is the problem the user requires help with.

745663 2009-02-07 22:26:00 The fact that the description of the site (which would correspond to a search criteria entered in a Search Engine) is mentioned four times in five sentences, in someone's first post suggests to me that is spam, since the crawlers index this site all day every day.

I imagine that this thread is now ranked fairly high and since the website address is also mentioned in the OP's post, he will have achieved what he was asking about in his post...

But then I' a cynic - naturally suspicious. :stare:

[Edit] That plus the username is the same as the website...

745664 2009-02-07 22:49:00 I agree with johcar.

I also note that the topic starter has not posted any replies to this thread.

Not that I am criticising the moderators - or Jen. No no no.
