744688 2009-02-03 21:57:00 I'm looking to buy a USB Flash drive for uni. It has to be at least 8gb and I want it to be a reputible brand.
I've looked at these 3 so far: ascent.co.nz
ascent.co.nz
and
ascent.co.nz

Are there any others that you suggest? Can I get them cheaper elsewhere?
Thanks guys

744689 2009-02-03 22:17:00 The sandisk one is pretty good, personally I reckon the transcend jetflash ones are really good too.

Do you have any needs for it, i.e really fast or U3 or something?

If not, I personally reckon any brand is OK.

744691 2009-02-04 01:10:00 I've gone through a few flash drives, either lost/stolen/broken etc.

I now will only buy the cheapest I can find at the time. :stare:

744693 2009-02-04 01:25:00 Sandsk, Corsair, Apacer.

My picks.

Have sold hundreds of Apacers with no failuers I'm aware of and they are very quick.

744695 2009-02-04 05:27:00 I find U3 very annoying, but the sandisk flash drives are great once it is removed. Greven (91)
