848931 2010-01-15 06:48:00 Hi there

I run the RTC100.co.nz (http://RTC100.co.nz) website, pertaining to a one day cycle event on the railtrail.

In previous years it ran on a Discount Domains (DD) server that was MSoft Frontpage (FP) compatible so I could easily run a Entryform that, when submitted, sent a formatted email to me at rtc100ride@google.com as well as adding a line of data to a CSV file in the Websites _Private folder. I never had one bother running the form in all those years, but thats all changed.

But, in late 2009 DD pulled out of supporting Frontpage and even though we are now hosted with KiwiWebHost, which supposidly supports FP, I cannot get the Entryform to work, or for that matter the confirmation page.

So, after pulling my hair out for the last month, Ive resigned and calling it quits on this task.

So, heres whats required.
Note - the residing website entryform does not need to sit in KiwiWebHost, I have a DD server slot I locate the form.

The Webpage is to look like this cyclingotago.co.nz
The Confirmation page to be redirected to this cyclingotago.co.nz

If you want to take up the challenge by creating whats required (formatted email and entryline to a CSV file) from the links above, please feel free to go ahead.

The first one who can meet the requirements and propose a reasonable fee for the work, is in. When you have set up the entryform, let me know and I will add a few entries myself, to see it works.

Youll need to send me the files so I can relocate on my DD server (to confirm it works).

Good luck and thanks for your support/help.

848932 2010-01-15 07:33:00 I gather everything is manually done? And you want to have the results posted to a spreadsheet? On the site? hueybot3000 (3646)
848933 2010-01-15 08:29:00 Hi there

Entrants enter online on the website, the CSV file remains hidden in the website _Private folder.

Sorry, Im not sure what you mean by Manually done. Once the Submit button is clicked, in FPage everything was done behind the scenes (email sent, CSV file updated) all the viewer saw was the acknowledgement page (thank_you.htm).

848934 2010-01-15 11:44:00 I have PHP code that will do exactly this. No changes required on form, other than to reference php response page.

Interested?
