746839	2009-02-12 00:14:00	Yes that is right National set up the Waitangi Tribunal and Doug Graham ( I think the name is right ) was the minister put in charge of the negociations. :) To be fair though, it was Labour that changed the scope of the Tribunal so that they could hear claims that related to grievances that took place before the formation of the Tribunal. Perhaps the National government retains the sense of honour that is the basis of a Crown mandate to govern? The recommendations of the Waitangi Tribunal on claims have yet to be ignored or set aside by any government - Labour or National.	Deane F (8204)

There will always be those that have grievances with the crown, Time we started putting that money into rescue helicopters and ambulance crews, Projects that help all New Zealanders rather then race based bull****, we are after all the same race. Of the two parties to Maori grievances over the last 135 odd years - that is, the Crown and Maori - one party has been consistently rapacious, greedy, deceptive. That party is the Crown. While some Maori have been hateful they have not been in any position of power in the Iwi and Hapu that have taken their grievances to law. Those Iwi and Hapu have been patient and law abiding. There have been no Maori posting hateful stuff on Press F1.	Deane F (8204)

Remember the more difficult the question the fewer know the answer,the do gooders don't want the answer,all they want is to tell you what to do.
