746172 2009-02-09 07:16:00 You know the stylish script and adblockplus?

It still makes the website slow, as it still loads, but its just blocked.

So, are there any ways to stop it from even reaching our computer?

Like not even load the ad?

PressF1 will not reach your computer if you do not use it.

You either do it or you don't.

746173 2009-02-09 07:19:00 I only use addblock plus subscribed to the easy USA list and Erayds script and I get no adds and the page still load as fast or faster than others gary67 (56)
746174 2009-02-09 07:22:00 Ah, no, not as simple as that, here are the scripts I use in Stylish, only some of them apply to PressF1 and some are Global, you get them from the Stylish site just google the site for the specific ones I will help with the links you can't find:

www.imagef1.net.nz

Had to censor a few of them lol, those are the blanks you see, the ones without ticks I do not use anymore even though they are on my Stylish, just remembered I could sent you my stylish.rdf if you like, then all you need to do is add it to your Firefox set up.

746175 2009-02-09 07:33:00 I use adnlock pro also, nlocks more ads than iepro. Couldn't stand to surf the net or visit this site without it, so much so that I have installed in on all the computers I use at work, so that if I do come here at work, it's not often I do, then at least I don't have to put with the ads, It's a pity you couldn't adblock the ads on TV. radium (8645)

746177 2009-02-09 08:03:00 No, your one:p, I'm using bletches now.

i just like the color of yours:p(and don't know how to change mine to that color) That color on the scripts is actually quite good , BUT I did find it a bit of a pain, as the color selected blended in to well with the "Quotes" and I was geting sick and tired of that blue/ gray what ever, so I changed it - This will do (www.imagef1.net.nz) till I get sick of it - then just go here (www.w3schools.com) and select a new one.

Edited: Okay sick of it already - changed to a Linen Color - bit lighter, slightly off white.

746180 2009-02-09 08:54:00 Possibly I could make a new web site with a white text on a white background. Sweep (90)
746181 2009-02-09 09:16:00 It's a fact that white text on a black background is the least strain on the eyes and makes for hours and hours of browsing without problems. I have verified this to be so. zqwerty (97)
