| 849031 | 2010-01-22 10:29:00 | Sounds like what happened to me. My heatsink and fans were working fine. But my computer would just shut off. Until I was told to run CoreTemp and try, my CPU got up to 90c which my Mobo or what ever part tells it to, to shut down. But if it's been going on for one year, I'm guessing that can't be to good for it :O I'm still trying to fix mine, I've ordered a new heatsink. But you should try what I did and run CoreTemp, it only monitors the CPU temp. Or look in the BIOs like others have said. |
