746636 2009-02-12 12:01:00 Erm, what is a socket 462 mobo? I'm assuming a motherboard? For what kind of PC? Sick Puppy (6959)

It's the old Socket A motherboards for AMD CPUs that haven't been available for a long time.

746638 2009-02-12 19:55:00 Best bet is a 2nd hand PC shop or trademe. Doubt whether any other PC shops have any old stock laying about. autechre (266)
746639 2009-02-13 02:31:00 Nobody makes socket 462 boards anymore, so nobody is going to sell them.

Some PC shops might have 2nd hand ones left over from upgrades etc.

But your best bet is probably Trademe, Trademe, or Trademe.
