Have it working quite well :) Acheiving speeds of 1.5 - 2.5MB/s. Its by no means super-fast, but its enough for me to share a few videos etc :)

Playback seems more than fine! :D

Not to mention, it was a *ton* more easy to setup than DD-WRT

Required a few reboots mind you, had to setup a share for /mnt/disc0_1 that was RW, and it doesnt like booting up with the 1GB Thumbdrive Im using plugged in, otherwise it doesnt appear to share ... that said, it works, and its not a mission to setup like DD-WRT

Have watched a few videos from it and so far its super!

CPU Load is around 0.07 while streaming a video, and .045 while copying all files to the drive so yeah :)

Posted this because others had been interested in the WL-520gU, hence why I put it in the title.

748728 2009-02-17 20:13:00 Nice!

Thanks Chill, I've already set up file sharing with my WL-520GU with a Tomato USB firmware:)

Printer sharing is also quite easy, I've plugged in 3 prinnters connected to a hub:D

748730 2009-02-17 21:56:00 Havent tried Printer Sharing but Im pretty keen to.

What I also wanna try is two or three thumbdrives doing simultaneous copies across the LAN and see how that goes.

It was failing to copy across a large video file before, but apparently its coz it was running out of space ..

Streamed a few large videos across it fine though. Small file copying is brilliant!

wratterus, yeah man, you so do! Absolutely freakin' amazing routers!!

Jon the guy who wrote the firmware even replied to an Email I sent him last night asking about routing. Im more impressed every day that goes on by this router and the Tomato firmware!! :D
