748453 2009-02-16 23:45:00 meh - like any pro-atheistic movie/documentary/whatever from all the people interviewed, anyone from any of the religious who offered a reasonable, intelligent, sane point of view will no be included in this movie.
While all the gimps of the different religions (who don't even actually understand what they believe in) will be shown as examples of what these religions are in an attempt to mock the entire religion and all those who are associated with it - regardless of how intelligent they may be.

anyway - might be good for a bit of a laugh ;)

My late Mum was a christian of the best type. Religion and churches played no part in her life as she had had bad experiences with both in her youth. She was of the opinion that "religion" and "churches" were the greatest problem creator in the world.

She had a great belief in her God and lived an very christian moral life. A good person was Mum. Always ready to help someone in need. She was of the belief that all you needed to do to talk to God was to raise her eyes to heaven and chat away. No church, required.

Bless you Mum, I hope you found your God when you died.

Then you have the other type of religious person

Here in NZ? Video Ezy or where?

BTW, it has a high rating on IMDB: www.imdb.com

From IMDB's 'Trivia':
The film used the fake working title "A Spiritual Journey" in order to obtain interviews with religious leaders. They did not know that Bill Maher was involved in the film until he arrived for the interviews.

IMDB User Comment:
I believe that everyone should see this film, but instead all the nuts that need to see this film the most, will probably be picketing in front of the theaters where the film is showing. Hugely entertaining, enlightening, hilarious and ultimately frightening what more could you ask from a couple of hours at the movies?
