I take five times the amount you take. Also umpteen other drugs - ever since pretty heavy heart surgery 10 years ago.
Cilazapril has never been a problem but Beater Blockers (not sure of the spelling) and Isosorbide Mononitrate really knock me for six. I turn into a zombie with no energy to read watch TV or work in the workshop or study.
Obviously what works for some people doesn't work for others. Keep a record of your drugs and their effect.
I just refuse to take those which spoil my life.

747280 2009-02-12 21:19:00 The Inhibace (at least) can make you more likely to cough - that's all, you don't get a cold haha.
Regular exercise like walking works for me and my BP didn't really become purrfect until I also took the RES-V Plus - and I am extremely sceptical about snake oil health products.

Golly you're older than I thought.

747282 2009-02-12 21:48:00 Run it by your Doctor first.

I was taking Asprin just because I thought it may help, but on a Flight to the UK i got a real bad nose bleed which was a result of the thinner blood seemingly.

747284 2009-02-12 22:59:00 Cilazopril 0.5 Felodipine 0.5 daily. No side-effects, no after-effects, no coughing. (Inhibace is trade name for Cilazopril.) Cartia one tab daily to thin blood - side-effect is when roses thorns stab it takes longer to stem the flow.
Actually I credit regular walking with some of the improvement in BP. Every day walk for 30 minutes.
[And I've been 21 three times plus a bit]
