It is charging on every computer except this Dell dimension. What is wrong? looked in the manual doesn't tell me anything. gone on the dick smith website HTTP 404 error is what I get. Please can someone help! ipod (15575)

849882 2010-01-19 05:47:00 Welcome to PF1.

Could be a faulty port on the Dell, have you tried other USB devices and do they work ?

Could also be the USB ports dont have enough power to run it, or could also be the Dell has USB 1 and the MP3 Player may require USB2.

What is the exact model of MP3 Player from DSE.

849883 2010-01-19 07:25:00 I have gone through 3 DSE mp3 players not really sure if they the same one. But I never touch any electronic gear from DSE that is their brand (well cables are alright) even though I work for the parent company. Have been told not to buy any DSE gear from them and I see why. nedkelly (9059)
