| 849854 | 2010-01-20 08:44:00 | Have you tried EXIFeditor? Free from www . kiwiczech . net UI is rather basic, and figuring out how it works is a bit of an IQ test, but it does the job . Does anyone else use the JPEG comments to add descriptions to their photos? I don't really like putting descriptions in image viewers or PC photo albums because it means I am stuck with that program to view the comments . What I would really like is for image viewers or photo albums to have an option to display the JPEG comments on the photo when I want to view them . Does anyone know of an image viewing program that does this? |

| 849855 | 2010-01-20 09:03:00 | Since I posted the above I have found that a new version of EXIFeditor is now available, with a new name, MetaEditor, and my comments about the UI no longer apply. | Jayess64 (8703) | ||

When you create captions for your photos, they're saved along with the photos and stay with them, even when you upload them, export them, or send them by email. However, your captions will only be displayed in Picasa, Picasa Web Albums, and other IPTC compatible programs. - Picasa Help (picasa.google.com) |
