849826 2010-01-19 03:05:00 Anyone have experience with LevelOne?, got my eye on the WBR6000.

I'm sure its adsl router as it states broadband and is dearer then the WBR6001, i cant tell the difference!

WBR6000 (ascent.co.nz)
WBR6001 (ascent.co.nz)
WBR6011 (ascent.co.nz)

thx

849827 2010-01-19 03:30:00 Those all look like routers only, no mention of ADSL built in.
I also checked LevelOne's website and the WBR6000 has a WAN port and no ADSL line connection.
You need the WBR-6600 for ADSL as well.
Or the WBR-3600 for ADSL with only wireless b/g.

I've never used a LevelOne ADSL router but used plenty of their wireless routers and never had a problem and they work well.

849828 2010-01-19 03:40:00 Hi bud, yeah, your right, no adsl connection.....I dont like 3com, netgear (cheapness) or d-link. linksys arent very reliable so I'm running out of ideas! SolMiester (139)
849829 2010-01-19 03:47:00 What features does it need? Have you looked at Netcomm? wratterus (105)

VPN pass-thru and stable ADSL.....

849831 2010-01-19 03:55:00 Netcomm NB6PLUS4W

Does multiple VPN passthrough sessions. Very stable router, has no issues handling large volumes of traffic and automatically re-connects if connection is dropped, normally takes less than a minute for it to do so.

Chill sings it's praises, and since I've brought one too I also highly recommend it. The interface is pretty much the same as a RTA-1025W but refined a bit and a whole hell of a lot faster. PB have a good price on that router usually.

849832 2010-01-19 04:10:00 I know some people here recommend Netcomm routers but I've never had a good experience with them.
Had a quite a few die on me so don't use them any more.
