2010-01-18 03:08:00 | I have just upgraded my comp. and had to install Nero. This query concerns the "Cover Designer". previously I would print a cover for a CD I had burnt and then be able to trim the image to suit the cover by using guide lies around the outside of the image to end up with a cover that just fitted inside the CD. Now have just printed a cover but no guide lines are showing. Can anyone help please.

2010-01-18 07:39:00 | Hi Speedy. What program would you use for burning? | gradebdan (2186) | |
2010-01-18 07:49:00 | cdburnerxp. What do you want to burn? It does have a cover designer thing (dont use that tho). But I do use lightscribe with it. You need to install the lightscribe program, to use the lightscribe part | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

2010-01-18 08:06:00 | You can use it, with or without lightscribe | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-01-18 08:12:00 | Agreed as a burner it works well but to the OP answers as to what you want to burn as asked by Speedy should be answered for possible alternatives. Also what O/s is being used would help here as well. Just a note Speedy, I'm not here to offend you BTW.

2010-01-18 08:15:00 | Well it has a cover designer, which is what he was using. And asking about. Since (maybe) noone is using nero. Thats why I said you can use cdburnerxp | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-01-18 09:27:00 | You need to select the appropriate paper stock from the drop down list... located to the left of the zoom buttons which are the far most right hand side buttons. If you use the "normal paper" setting you won't get the guidelines you're referring to. At least that's how it works on my machine... I'm using Nero 8 here. Hope that helps a bit. Cheers,
