849032 2010-01-15 21:18:00 can't update the firmware on a dlink 502-t gen 2 router

i find the file on the hdd, (theres either a WEB or EXE file) click apply and get the error "the update file you chose is incorrect.

the current version is V3.00 and the latest version is V3.02 so am a bit mistified

Not sure if it applies to Gen II models though.

What's the full filename of the file you are trying to upgrade it with now?

And are you using Vista, I heard that the upgrade doesn't work on Vista. Also make sure you use IE as your browser, I don't think these routers like Firefox or anything else that much.

i'll look at that file and use IE later on today.
