750339 2009-02-22 19:53:00 I wonder if they used Excel to (mis)calculate the payouts??? :D johcar (6283)
750340 2009-02-22 20:01:00 Looking at the spacing and the blanked out bits, it seems very sizable overpayments. No wonder they're asking for it back.

What's the odds it got sent to only two people?

750341 2009-02-22 20:05:00 If they used Excel it might be that the cents went to 8 decimal places.... johcar (6283)
750342 2009-02-23 00:06:00 If the hapless ex Microsoft people promise to repay the moment that Vista is working as advertised, there may be a slight delay. ;) R2x1 (4628)

Would love to know how "marginally off" the figures really were ;)

750346 2009-02-23 06:17:00 They want a refund because the severance was wrong? Good.
I have a point to raise about XP, and ME. Also 98, and 95. I was happy with 3.1.1, but the others are due for a bit of refund due to Microsoft's errors.
Actually, it was only the software part of the OS's that gave trouble. Well, come to think back, the documentation, and - - - -
