| 750174 | 2009-02-22 04:12:00 | Was watching the news the other night (can't remember exactly which night) and on there there was an item about a power saving website, that was apparently launching on friday. Anyone know what the site was? I think it was channel one news, but can't be sure. Any help is greatly appreciated |

| 750176 | 2009-02-22 04:20:00 | http://www.powershop.co.nz There is nothing to stop you changing power providers regularly. Power Retailers hedge their power buying from power generators and prices change between companies regularly. If you change at the right time of the month you can save a lot, they switch back just before another company price change goes up. Between Power Generation companies and Power Retailers prices can change Hourly 24/7 |

| 750181 | 2009-02-22 07:41:00 | There does not seem much point in swapping suppliers to get a cheaper rate, cos the next minute the new one will put their price up ! We are never going to win. | Digby (677) | ||

| 750183 | 2009-02-22 18:11:00 | But what about the horror that goes with the power supplier change over. I've never heard one good story about changing power companies. This power store estimates saving me $209.57 a year. But I'll never get a guarantee. I've had various power companies at my door over the years tying to sell me the same sort of thing and yet, once we get down to actual figures they work out more expensive. Seriously, nice to have another competitor in the market, but for me - no way.... |
