749787 2009-02-20 21:40:00 Skill is a brand name for a circular saw. Skill come from America gary67 (56)
749788 2009-02-20 21:50:00 Brand name = "Skil", not "Skill" - although you need some to operate one well.... johcar (6283)
749789 2009-02-20 22:01:00 I believe that the Skil brand was the first in NZ. All the others that came after were called Skil Saws, just because. PJ Poppa John (284)
749790 2009-02-20 22:08:00 Circular saw blade as opposed to straight saw blade?

A skilsaw has a circular blade as do other makes and models.

749794 2009-02-20 22:22:00 Good one. Again a case of one name fits all. PJ Poppa John (284)
749795 2009-02-20 22:31:00 Skilsaws have square blades.. circular saws have round blades...

Hence the saying.. "She was only the wood cutters daughter, but she was covered in circular saws"
