749340 2009-02-19 20:24:00 I'm useing Ad Block Pro in IE7, works a treat. The only thing is, it is on a 30 day trial, then I have to pay for it.
:)

749343 2009-02-19 22:48:00 IE7Pro or Adblock+

I don't waste my time with ads. I will never click on them anyway. Browsing is so much better when you don't get pages covered in crap.

749344 2009-02-19 23:22:00 I got so hacked off, now changed to Firefox with Adblock+
Like others, I'd just about given up on this site.

749345 2009-02-19 23:50:00 I am pretty dumb when it comes to computer but pressf1 is pretty slow even slower than a Sri lanka army site I visit about 20 times a day.
I have Google chrome when I refresh pressf1 it comes up with connecting to other sites on the bottom left of the browser.
One even has de which is german isnt it?
Whats the go are these other sites slowing pressf1 down?

749346 2009-02-20 00:14:00 Yes. Most of the ads are linked to other sites and if some of those sites are slow, PF1 becomes slow too.

I can't understand people who don't block ads, I've always blocked them, back when I still used Norton personal firewall which came with a very good ad blocking feature (probably the only good thing about it!)

749349 2009-02-20 03:04:00 If you use an ad blocker, just it cut down the loading time or does it just hide the ads ? Digby (677)
