| 851105 | 2010-01-23 23:02:00 | You'll have to install something that supports scanning. Some graphics program like irfanview. Thats if the drivers installed both of the drivers | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 851109 | 2010-01-23 23:50:00 | In W7 - try running the scanner in Compatibility mode - Select XP. Last one I set up, it picked up the Scanner and printer in XP mode fine, they were an older Epson though. Also have a read of This article (www.sevenforums.com) - Have not tried it so dont know if it works or not. |

| 851111 | 2010-01-24 00:41:00 | Oh Crap!! VMlite doesn't have the same functions to disable the integration mode. Try this -- I dont have a scanner here to test, but it did work with Printer that wouldn't work before in XP mode (now does). This is only a guess as I cant test it. In Windows 7 - I assume it is showing the Scanner -- Right click it, and share the scanner (dont worry if you are not on a LAN - XP Mode is acting like a LAN - KIND of :illogical) Once shared, now go to XP Mode, start / Control Panel - Scanners and Cameras - Top left (you may want to select allow this computer to use a network scanner) - then Add an Imaging device - follow the wizard. Hopefully it will now allow your scanner to work -- Hands are a bit tied as I dont have other scanners here to test sorry.. |
