While we await Disputes proceedings I bought a shiny new one form the Husky dealers who did the report on the crap one.


On finance alas..........but hey, it Starts! It runs! Its brilliant.

Oh - sorry Nofam, Husband loves his Huskys.........

Yep. I love huskys too. Very useful in the snow.
A samoyed or two may be better.

Did a person fail to use twostroke oil at some time on the chainsaw?
Post report if you like but it should be sub judice if before a Court.

And why a new thread for the issue you have?

749256 2009-02-20 05:07:00 My husky died pctek, I made my 2 stroke mix slightly wrong doing it by eye rather than measure and it seized up years ago. I flogged it off to a Chainsaw/Lawnmower shop for spare parts as it was going to cost too much to do up the engine at the time.

The short time I had it (from new) it worked well.

I used it a lot when I lived in Otago, but since then it has all been Electric and Gas no need for it anymore.

I have an electric chain saw but I have never seen a gas chainsaw. :illogical

LOL It went better than that in my head when I typed it:-)
No need for a chainsaw for my firewood anymore. In fact no need for firewood at all. Heating is now Electric and Gas.
