850235 2010-01-20 10:59:00 I have Windows 7 in my Eee 701, using a 7gig SD card for the software.
Problem is that I installed eastern asian languages with Windows Update but have now decided that the space taken would be better used for a bigger swap file.

Went to uninstall the languages, only to find that there is no sign of them in the language list. How cani get rid of them? They must be there because about 500mb is missing.

Where would these files be kept?
I made an Acronis image before installing them so its not a big problem.

850238 2010-01-22 06:01:00 Removing the keyboard does just that. It doesn't remove the fonts or other anguage files, still about 400mb missing.
Have now restored the Acronis image.

I got rid of a lot of fonts by using Puppy Linux and deleting them, but couldn't find any large language files. Be easier if knew what they are called.

Doesn't matter now anyway!

EDIT: sorry I read the OP and realised you have resolved the issue.
