| 751779 | 2009-02-27 04:07:00 | I like to web surf . I type a word into the browser and in just nanoseconds I get the results . ie: "EGGPLANT" = Results 1 - 100 of about 8,820,000 English pages for eggplant [definition] . (0 . 30 seconds) As cool as that may be, I need to know something . How do I get to the VERY LAST RESULT? I don't want to click each and every page in the results - I want to go directly to the last page in the search . Any ideas? |

| 751781 | 2009-02-27 06:49:00 | Try adding a word - for instance: eggplant. Cooking Cultivation Diseases Origins Vitamins Domains Scams etc That should cut the choices down by a few thousand anyway... |

Google will only ever show you the first 800-1000 hits and then not go any further . |

You can explain Google searches to my boy. He thinks, and I'm inclined to agree, that there's NO way a computer 'signal' can go from his pc in NZ...out thru his ISP....across to the US, search nine million records in God-knows-how-many servers, and come back to his computer........THAT fast! He reckons it's bollocks! I had a hard time trying to explain otherwise. |
